During the week dedicated to the Italian cuisine in the world, on the day focused on the Emilia-Romagna region, the Bissoni Sangiovese Superiore Girapoggio 2013 was matched with “Crunchy Lasagna”, prepared by the famous chef Massimo Bottura. The dinner was organised in the Italian Embassy to the USA in Washington on 15th November 2016.

As of the 2016 harvest, Bissoni winery is officially certified organic, having completed all the steps for conversion to organic farming and wine production. Therefore, from vintage 2016, wine labels shall feature the European organic product logo.

Bissoni was crowned “Winery of the year” in the International biennial prize Rimini-Europe 2016-2017 reserved for artists and intellectuals who distinguish themselves in their field of expertise. Raffaella Bissoni has been recognised as “artist of wine”, for her dedication in this field and for outstanding results achieved in tastings.

Raffaella has chosen to enhance typical grape varieties of this land: she only grows Sangiovese and Albana. This year in the Vini Buoni d’Italia guide of Touring Ed.
